Find out what Investment-Linked Policies are

What are investment-linked plans?

Investment-linked plans, also known as investment-linked policies or ILPs are a type of insurance product that combines investment and insurance components into a single policy. Policyholders can invest their premiums into their own choice of sub-funds provided by the investment-linked plans based on their investment strategy. The value of the policy is determined by the performance of the underlying investments, and policyholders can often switch between different funds to manage their investment portfolio. Investment-linked plans are able to potentially offer better returns than other savings instruments, with a higher level of risk involved, depending on the sub-funds selected.

How to choose an insurance investment plan?

Choose an investment-linked plan which meets your investment goals while getting sufficient insurance coverage for yourself and your loved ones.

Some ILPs offer riders for additional coverage, such as critical illness or disability. Policyholders can choose to add one based on their needs.
